Take your hockey skills to the next level with The Hockey Academy!

 

We are focused on providing the best coaching possible to our participants. The coaching at this academy will be led by Liam Flynn, the record breaking Hale and Thundersticks striker. He will be supported by a raft of senior players. The coaching curriculum was developed by hockey coaching legend Des King.

Our aim is to provide a positive environment focused on improvement, performance , and enjoyment. Players will leave this course with the tools to become better hockey players.

The course is open to boys and girls in Year 5 - 10 from any club.

* Culture and Values 

* Sports Science - How to treat your body right

 

Our course combines cutting edge hockey thinking and a fun, friendly environment to learn and train.

 

 DETAILS

• Monday 8th July – Wednesday 10th July.
• Course timing: 9am – 3pm.
• Drop off from 8.30am. Pick up by 3.30pm.
• Age Group: Year 5 to Year 10.
• Please provide all food and drink required including morning snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks.
• Cost $300.

Early bird discount - $250. Extended until Saturday 6th July.

 

We don't anticipate any problems, but we do have standards and values we expect from our participants so we maximise the safety and enjoyment of all those on the course. By signing up to the program, the player and parent agree that the player will not display dangerous or disrespectful behaviour. If the coaches need to remove the player from the session, they will phone for the player to be picked up.
